Our culture is primarily that of Judeo/Christian traditions with adequate provision for multiculturalism and pluralism.
As our population demonstrates, we're not a mono-culture like Japan etc because of our immigration history & our Aboriginal Aussies.
We had the "White Australian Policy" from Confederation which was scrapped in the 1960s and coincidently we only recognised our Aboriginal peoples as full Aussie citizens then.
I'm keenly aware that some on these threads hanker for he 50s & 60s but that is an Australia of the past as is capital punishment, the Pound, military conscription etc.
So to all you 'retros" out there , may I say get with it and be happy campers.
