lol exactly what happened to me for two property transactions in the last several months.
I never was asked, it just appeared on my 'adjustments'. Having said that the price was not large (at least not compared to the government fees charges, not including stamp duties).
Pexa was maybe a couple of hundred dollars, the government charges a couple of grand.
