the project im in 2012 projects operating profits of 158million usd for omh at 27% profit margin for ferrosilicon and 18% profit margin for the manganese alloys. This was at usd to myr of 3.1, as opposed to the current 4.1. This is significant as the hydropower is priced in myr.
while the actual project is slightly smaller. the margins at current prices is closer to 40% for ferrosilicon and 30% for manganese alloys.
an operating profit of above 200million aud for this year is not out of the question. Even with 75% utilization and the factory shutdown.
