1. None that I have seen. Considering that EMD AML manifests in roughly 22% of AML patients (1), I suspect that some may have been.

2. All I can find from the 3 papers and 1 abstract I have are that patients with CNS involvement were excluded. There may have been more, but I do not know.

Something that may interest you is that Bisantrene showed very good efficacy in the extramedullary form of lymphoma, termed follicular lymphoma. I speculate that FTO may be the driver of this extramedullary form of lymphoma like AML.
