Dow Jones Covid Round-up
Cinema-ticketing software company Vista Group, which is the top gainer in the NZX-50 this year, has been downgraded to neutral from outperform by Maquarie on earnings risks even as more theaters reopen internationally. An accelerated transition in the company's system of software delivery means consensus forecasts for FY 2021 revenue might not be achieved, the bank says. Theater reopenings in key international markets are positive, although the circulation of Covid-19 variants still has the potential to hurt regions with poor vaccine coverage, it says. Macquarie has a 12-month target price of NZ$2.56. Shares are up 40% this year at NZ$2.36. ([email protected])
