Not necessarily, most pauses in trading I’ve seen as a result of “something a little more serious” is usually a result of a meteoric rise in share price and volume during the course of the trading day without any reason for it.. and a please explain usually follows..
I’d speculate this pause just means some material information has been submitted and is being reviewed before release.. could be anything from seriously good, to seriously bad..
