Possibly. John's been part of the MEM journey for a long time, and it's great that he's formally tied to the business since retiring from the university. He obviously brings a host of expertise around the science and is a respected body in the industry.
But realistically he hasn't built and commercialised a biotech product, brought it to market and drummed up global sales. Yes it's a good move for MEM and it will help to legitimise the product in the eyes of other KOLs, but it's not a means to an end.
