Its not my local shopping centre so I haven't been there lately.
But with the four day lockdown Wed to Saturday the only reason to be there was if you had to shop for groceries. Foot traffic would have been greatly reduced as a result and that was what was reported by the media. On Sunday the media reported that all the major shopping Centres (which includes CDP) in Brisbane had a major bounce back in trade that nearly made up for the other days.
On another note Alan Kohler on ABC reported retail sales to be the highest they have been for years, including the pre pandemic years. That has got to be good.
