On the one hand we have a $1 billion dollar project - on which the economics will be getting better by the day due to Australia's insatiable demand for the products Alpha will be producing + the ever rising costs involved with global logistics pushing the price of competitors from Asia higher all the time. This will be a story of national significance and consequently national media interest, a 'home-grown' story of self-sufficiency in a time of geo-political angst & arm wrestling.
On the other hand we have the simmering exploration drive in the Georgina basin, where numerous companies big and small are positioning themselves to make the area between Tennant Creek and Mt Isa the next great Australian exploration province, as the hunt for large IOCG deposits under cover gears up. In a matter of months this exploration drive will reach boiling point as the drill bits start turning.
