Sure, good call, I didn't account for all the variables in my simplified example but painting a scenario for an average LTH investing in biotechs, not a swing trader. Due to my income I am paying 49% tax so yes, different variables, different outcomes, I am just responding to all the "take your profits" pundits out there and saying in my case, it's not a winner IMO due to CGT. Also, In my experience in these biotech stocks, TI doesnt predict swings well either as these stocks tend to be news base or pushed around by the NASDAQ. Your scenario assumes people can pick and follow the TI indicators at the right time and they will be accurate.
Another reason each person needs to DYOR.
