Well there has certainly been a flurry of activity in the past week! About 40mil shares traded in the last 6 days, the price drops in tune with the new Cr issue and the big buyers rush in. who are the buyers? maybe some light will be shown with a couple of substantial holder notices today or tomorrow. If it is some profit taking at least there is money in the kitty to let a couple of contracts for PSD.
Just looking at the funding and running a few figures through my mind- Chairman converts his loans to shares, so no new money in the bank just a liability eliminated and the $15m offered to existing holders will offset this. So we have some new money from sophisticated investors to fund some work and looking for another $130m or so to make up the $281m required for stage 1a, and how do we fund repayments of a loan?
When we have the expected 6000 tonne production in 18 months that should produce about $20m proffit (based on the $3.05 to$3.67 profit per Kg stated by Tassal in another post here) this and the cash flow from Queensland should certainly meet repayments and permit further works to progress.
This is only a ball park guess and depends on interest rates and terms of the loans.
I will like to see someone produce clearer figures along this line and possible some good question and answers at the meeting at the end of the month.
