The $1,952 is the All In Cost not the All in Sustaining Cost. The AISC for the March quarter was A$1,598/oz (US$1,235/oz).
Agree that the market will be looking for costs to reduce. The merger is less than 6 months old, so we should see costs reduce as the benefits flow through the business.
