key entitlement offer & uk acquisition?

Just wondering what the impact of an unsuccessful take up would have on the UK acquisition.

That is, if KEY don't get sufficient funds is it likely that they will not proceed with the acquisition given that they require the funds to fully exploit the opportunity.

I asked the KEY representative doing the current ring around to clarify this for me. He did say that he will call back but we will see.

In addition, IMO this seems like a great opportunity for KEY. I am taking up the offer ....... not because it represents a huge discount to the current SP (as it obviously doesn't) but because I believe that the cash investment is wise given the potential in the UK.

I also do not believe that this takes the focus off the main game. I see it as a nice opportunistic diversification and a decent risk/reward opportunity.
