As I understand it, AHF will be selling their raw milk to a new processor, this processor has an export business who I believe will be taking the milk powder and selling it in to their current export markets. This is a good move, it means that the AHF business that has zero experience will be just making product and nothing else, (let’s just hope they know how to operate the dryer!).
As I say they MUST stop processing at CDC because all the money they make on the farms and in the IF plant could be wasted in keeping the CDC plant open. Remember AHF have written the CDC plant down to zero, so that is a good sign!!!
They will have to let the market know shortly, also the year end numbers are only a couple of weeks away, not sure if they update the market before, with or after the numbers?
