There is such a body and can creat issues for the companies involved, platinum is one search area they got involved with when angloplats looked like doing a De beers on Lonrho et al.

The govt. will push the smaller guys, as long as thye are serious about developing their operations, not just setting them up for a quick buck sale.

I honestly think all the aussie groups involved are in this fast buck mode, it's been a trait for anumber of years especially in the diamond business.
