re: ****gold rooted****rivkinsjockstrap I wasn't asking you to predict the future, just make a determination as to wether the gold is in an uptrend to this point. It was really a tongue in cheek question as the chart is clearly in an uptrend, so far. Stop looking at that ma :-)
My novice brain has been loaded with "stuff" in the last 4.5 years and comes to very similar conclusions to yours. My silver positions (you may have noted) were entered with a 5 year view, about 3.5 to go.
Though in regard to the markets, gold, silver, oil - I just feel that almost anything could happen at any time (except I doubt the markets would go up significantly)
