To be honest Dust I have played AFL all be it whilst i was in High School I went from playing second row in league to playing in the ruck in AFL , Admitedly i didnt set the world on fire but could do the basic things needed to be a ruckman And in regards to Football in general i dont think playing harold matthews and SG ball in league means having no idea about skill needed in football?
I was watching on the couch a weeks ago and they were talking About BretT Kirk they showed his stats for handball efficiency and also kicking accuracy they were both around the 30% mark hardly the most skillfull player but what he lakes in skill makes up for courage and tackling which thats where i think NrL players could be effective in AFL.
