Redfaces - As you know many many stocks that fall into the speculation category have rises and falls that bear no relationship to actually producing an end product.

Many gold explorers see their price fluctuate wildly long before any gold is actually poured. Many oil explorers experience the same without any oil actually coming out of a well.

Biotechs, in particular are extremely sensitive to sentiment, in either direction. Even a hint of positivity can see a Biotech's share price escalate, even if, in reality, the core fundamentals have not changed dramatically, and getting a product to market remains well into the future.

Any hint of negativity - a delay, or financial difficulty, or poor trial results, can likewise act as a lead balloon to a share's price.

Whatever the specifics of the current announcement, if it is seen as positive, it is hard to see how this is not going to give a major boost to the sentiment about PRR.

Having any Biotech company and the FDA mentioned in the same sentence in a positive way is just what long term investors in this sector hope for.

How much of a boost to the share price we see I really don't know, but it's unlikely at this stage to be too dramatic.

There are certainly some possible announcements that could result in a rocketing of the share price (such as Orphan Drug status), but I suspect these are still in the future, and we are still a bit early in the development process for this.

If, though, you have been a believer for a while, and bought in some months ago (unlike me, you lucky ones!!) you'd have to be a really greedy "son of a..." to be unhappy with your current position.
