see how prior to December 2008 the LME-Cu price correspondence was excellent, but at that point the buying started and for the first time in years the relationship has got out of whack (thank goodness: with that LME peak, where would the price have dropped to?)due to Chinese buying. Its pretty impressive. It tells me at least that the LME is normally a VERY good indicator of price trend for Cu. Sometime soon, shouldn't they start to get back into equilibrium? There is nothing new and magical about it, but it does help give one perspective.
