It is explained in the WGO announcement why WE2 had no water. The base of the reservoir in WE2 is 10m above the water contact in WE4. So the concern on WGO's part is that the GWC is sitting just below WE2.
Someone above said WE5 is actually significantly stratigraphically higher than WE4 so it should also have no water. Yet both WGO and STX say WE5 will help answer whether the water is a lens or a GWC. I don't know how their thinking goes on that without seeing the wireline logs.
