Agreed that use of coal is being left in the shadows as the years go past.
Even Matmor will be redundant soon, with FMG shortly to produce green steel using green hydrogen. Coal for power generation is definitely diminishing year on year, green energy is powering on and it's use increasing YoY, whilst coal use diminishes YoY. The use of coal to produce hydrogen is already redundant since green hydrogen is already being produced, and is preferred over dirty hydrogen produced with coal.
ECT in my opinion is redundant due to the time taken to deliver... nothing...... India was their only chance since coal is still required for the short term, but that was a huge failure, along with it ECT's future.
Happy to be proven wrong, but that's not likely imo.
