Not to sure of the exact science with how they come up with market sentiment of 0.9.
But from my understanding the highest you can get is 1.0 and the lowest is -1.0.
I think they add up all the broker recommendations and put a value next to strong buy, buy, hold, sell, strong sell, etc.
Then an average is calculated. For example after Macquaries results the other day the market sentiment is 0.1. So pretty much a neutral basis.
But with 0.9 shows most brokers are on the same page.
