and that reference (0.4%, which was actually 0.615%) to the image is at approx 250m, not the end of hole chalco and bornite interval which was likely missed by the pXRF anyway, and both are peripheral to Inca targets. I saw it in person and I was excited but personal XRF's would have been frowned upon I suspect. smile.png

As several have highlighted, an xrf reads the outside (not the internal mineralisation) of a core. It is most likely hand held and drawn down a line along the top surface of the core. If even that example in the photo was on the under side of the core it would not have been scanned.

Hence, we all wait patiently ( or not ) for geoscientists to complete their studies and for GA to release the data package including intervals down as fine as every 25cm on NDIBK04 into the public domain.

If you really want to see what the pXRF had to say you need to find (MinexCRC website from memory) an XLS file titled ....\NDIBK04 associated downloads\associated_downloads_NDIBK04\NDIBK04_pXRF.csv but it is just as well to know we have sniffs, expect gold which was not recorded with the pXRF (tough you can see evidence of the likely gold hosting sulphides in that spreadsheet) and to simply wait upon the assays.
