Once the stream starts trending down with no specific news re a hit of some consequence, it's back to the river bed.
No matter how good the diagrams/enthusiasm/stories maybe, eventually, they run out of air.
Like a golfer on the practise tee hitting perfect shots, goes onto the course proper and cannot produce
