No. SLX does readily lend itself to the recycling of used U rods-Goldsworthy stated as much in answer to a question I put to him at the 07 AGM. Personally I see the potential for it to be used, but there are other issues to overcome.
US does not currently recycle. But the French do it via solvent extraction and have done so for years and years. It has been incredibly stupid that the US advocated burying U enriched to 4+% instead of recycling it like the French do. The US is finally waking up.
