Just thought I’d report on the amount of wildlife that I didn’t see the other day on my fishing trip.
I traveled from burnie to Strahan (past Tullah) Driving in the dark from 430-730 and home at 5-8pm and seen 1 wallaby (small kangaroo).
No devils and I’ve never seen a devil on the road at night . I’ve driven this road around 8 times a year for 10 years. So only a small snapshot of what is about the area. But I’m certain that devils are there it’s just they are very shy. And if the road is cleaned up of dead animals everyday which is done by A local contractor, then there is no reason for the devils to be on the road. Same for all our eagles. They prey on dead animals in the middle of the road.
