Sezzle is essentially getting 3 things:
- It becomes a BNPL solution on the Discover Global Network - 48 million merchants with US$417 billion in network volume
- Dedicated referral program with Discover - that's essentially free money for SZL....
- US$30m equity investment at a 11% premium to last night close. That's roughly a 2% stake in SZL. While small for now, this tells me Discover is serious about partnering with Sezzle
