But the case that Canadian lithium is going to make supply lines to US manufacturers better, really falls flat when one takes into account that the US accounts for just over 10% of world car production, and according to sales figures for 2020, US only made up circa 8% of world electric vehicle sales. Asia on the other hand, is veering close to a huge percentage of car manufacturing, and electric vehicle manufacturing.
