2. New Project to Treat Wastewater at the 3rd Holiest Site in the Christian World Last month, we signed a project with our partner Asik to provide a SUBRE wastewater treatment plant at the Qasr al-Yahud Baptismal Site on the Jordan River. We look forward to helping improve the wastewater treatment at the 3rd holiest site in the Christian world, which usually sees more than a million visitors a year.
Expecting to hear about this in a couple weeks in the quarterly, but geez, seems significant enough to warrant its own announcement. Might be something smaller around the 600 m3/d size so not big enough to hit the $3m reporting threshold, but first greenfield SUBRE installation in Israel and first project in Israel since the last announcement in Oct 2017 for the retrofit SUBRE trial (installed circa 18/19). Might be one of those orders where the authority doesn't want that much publicity, as those million visitors a year have basically been bathing in holy sewage/agricultural runoff for the last few years, so it is a bad look. Anyway, overall good news that there is more traction in this area.
