Ummm Bingy...aren't you out by a factor of 10?
You have "1% of 115g x 1b = 11.5b grams converted to tons = 11500tons" where it should be 1150tons shouldn't it?
I've just been looking for the average copper use in bullets and haven't been able to find it. But in case anyone is interested, here is some annual data (US centric):
