Yes that was me. I did miss the ride, and missed last three weeks too. In fact I actually haven't been right. So you can choose to ignore me or to take my posts with a pinch of salt.

Please remember, you are the master of your own cash, as am I. Not that I wish anyone ill will (unlike some) and would empathise greatly with those who are the target of "smarter" people who always seem to buy and sell at the bottom and top, but what I expressed above are my opinions and that only.

There's some logic to everyone's arguments and a case can be made for a bull or bear, short term or long term. Truth of the matter is, no one knows and people take sides all the time, that makes the stock market.

I'm guessing the top is near and the catalyst to be the job numbers. You can take caution or ignore if you wish, but surely there is no reason to revel in my lack of ability to make as much money as you do.

Fair points to all. But what's your take on simple gravity?

    Volt:

Okay, I think they were referring to the SPX, and the numbers were inclusive of weekends so I think the number is actually 107 trading days, and the 107 number falls on Thursday (jobs data day).
