just catching up on newspaper article:
"..In March, Perth-based Australis began flying 60,000 hatchlings a month from South Australia to its recently acquired indoor fish production plant in the US north-east. There, the barramundi will be grown for harvest six months later. The first plate-size fish expected in September.
Now only chilled barramundi are sent from Australia to the $US55 billion ($77 billion) US seafood market, second only to Japan in size, for immediate consumption. Last year, 250 tonnes of barramundi were exported to New York. Australis expects to produce up to 700 tonnes of the fish per year at its US plant."
