Plus they have one up on NAN who had to create the need for it and get it included in guidelines etc. A lot of this heavy lifting is well advanced by the ASA, the MSU’s and all of the completed viability studies.
Compared to NAN, EMV will have a walk up start when commercial and unlike NAN will already have its second device ready to go with work already started on a third.
A very bright future indeed.
