Wow, SANTOS has gone a long way to expand its influence. Trying to merge (takeover) with Oilsearch is not going to be easy. Oilsearch will resist due to the pride of a nation. Like the courage of the Santos management. Its share price reflects the combination of this merger as well as the decline in oil price.
