I posted an article that said that BHP is seriously considering exiting the liquid fuel industry. I did not comment on why they were doing that.
If you bothered to look at my earlier post where I added a video by Tony Seba where I said, " Tony Seba explains it here. The baseload model used for LCOE calculations is toast ".
While that video was referring to baseload power generation being undercut by renewables, the principle is the same. Fossil is on the nose and fossil companies have read the writing on the wall.
They are getting out.
