We forgot to get our permits, page-68

Granted there has probably been a PR miss out of all this, but I don't see Oz mining projects getting mining permits until the DFS stage, so why so different now?. Also, this hoohaa about open pit mines and community backlash, did they not know there are 11 active quarry sites greater than 100 acres just 30 miles from the PLL proposed site? So it's an active area for mining/quarries and has been for 70 years!

I see this as a concerted push to increase the price for landowners, before they sell up and move on. And as for councillors getting a bit of press time, no different to mouth pieces here in Oz, generally the ones who speak up aren't the ones you need to listen to.... I'm not one for spruiking market manipulation, and won't here, but I do see this as an obvious push by the council/county/land owners to maximise their benefits in the upcoming negotiations...
