    re: $8-$10m on profit line For what it's worth, and to put some perspective on what"might" happen re future explanation, I recently emailed AMU asking about the possibility of future dividends. Their response is copied below:

    We are certainly considering the prospect of future dividends, however, we are spending a lot on new exploration and development drilling on existing production.

    We are likely to drill up to 40 wells in the next 18 months and are actively pursuing new acqisitions at this time.

    The success (or otherwise) of our drilling programme will dictate our capacity to pay and maintain a dividend.

    There are an enormous number of opportunities in exploration at present and it is in our best interest to "get after it" while we have oil and gas at such strong prices.

    So 40 holes in 18 months. Just a number I guess, but if past success is reflected even in part it only supports the current arguements that the current share price will look cheap in the future.
