Runningbear62 has pointed out the issue with ICU beds, I went over to London to watch an NFL game at Wembley Stadium once, my team were playing a regular season game over there and we took a holiday. It looked alright to me and they seemed to have a fair few hospitals around Paddington and elsewhere. It is a different legal system to America but their medical malpractice cases are low, where I had a few cases, their system, called the NHS from memory appeared alright. And their medical insurance is quite low in comparison to the States. Compared to the Biden Harris regime, Prime Minister Johnson appears to have done much better in terms of vaccinations. I think England runs rings around America. Perhaps not Scotland and Wales, but even the Scots and Welsh have given up, most have left for England.

I lived in London (Kensington/Notting Hill gate) for 6 years, my family are scattered throughout the UK (scottish family, I am a dual passport holder). I can tell you with a certainty for the average member of the public the hospital/medical facilities, availability and conditions are definitely not as good as Australia. The further away from London the worst it gets.
