I agree that it's different to the 2014-2016 period and just wanted to add to your comments about high capital intensity. The other thing going on besides macro AUD and USD gold prices is the Covid-19 effect on WA operations and staff and labour shortages, combined with travel restrictions upending the FIFO business model of miners and subcontractors from drillers to contract miners, all of this wages inflation and immobilisation of interstate and overseas sourced labour will blow the budgets of any expansion and also day-to-day operations in WA and will start to put pressure on margins at all gold mines.

Its a problem that everyone is going to have to deal with, so in your opinion, how are EVN set up to handle this compared with their peers? Interested in your thoughts.
