Canada also appears to have a lot of red tape - Sayona mining (SYA) itself has found that out with the lengthy wranglings with a bidding process to acquire the mothballed lithium plant from NAL. SYA is still seeking a so called environmental BAPE approval that's been going on for a long time. Hard to make a quid with all those obstacles. PLL also bought into SYA earlier this year.
At least WA is not in lockdown - at least not yet.
