thanks R,
happy to pass on as i have understood it in spoken conversation, but i'm no lawyer, so its just a basic interpretion,
Litigation may be our ownly leverage against exploration dollars spent,,
what was this guy thinking,,,,i'll sign them over to an un-incorporated entity, maybe ignorantly, maybe worse, and then the penny drops later, or before, i still own them, tecnically.
Maybe just foolishly, ignorantly. (was his intent fraud, or just ignorance)
So then MLS spends exploaration dollars, and he'll just swoop in and say thankyou very much??
Well, i would have thought then, that MLS has a case, if they choose to, to persue damages on dollars spent.
Can this guy afford to repay our exploration dollars??
Probably, if he turns around and does a sweet deal with some forth party, legitimately.
I think, its pretty crook, that the due dilligence wasnt done correctly in the beginning. MLS lawyers, ought to have confirmed the entity who owned the tenaments.
Norman said something about "at the time which he transfered them over to RRA" so, maybe, that implies, that he later registered RRA as a correctly incorporated body.
Maybe thats why the lawyers didnt pick it up??
I'm only speculating,,,but maybe when MLS took the transfer, RRA was incorporated.???
(and the illegitemacy was from the original transfer to RRA, and fraud, when he transfered them to MLS and would have had to at the time, known that the trasnfer on was dodgy, but did not allude to this fatal flaw)
So perhaps our dilligence was good. How far back do you check third party transfer??
If you buy a stollen car, no matter how many owners it has seen, when discovered, it goes back to the original owner.
Hmphhh!
Diversify is the answer, but i'd keep MLS on the watch list to see what happens, but my expectation is not high at this point, but, more sombered to waiting for the maturing of other developements in base metals, and who knows, other project aquasitions.
OK, for those looking sideways, PEN, and NGM have comparable MC to MLS (yesterday), with good upside to developement in the U sector.
cheers
