Thanks for the follow up research. A bit confusing as the project was already on the way in Nov 2020, and another tender for Yanerwan came in Feb 2021.

However, I managed to find this link that announced a winning tender for equipment supply dated March 2021

The Zhejiang company mentioned seems to be a subsidiary of Oxymem. It is all too confusing as I don’t think a project of that scale would be awarded without going through the pilot stage as we have gone through. The plausible explanation could be that they (Oxymem) bought over the whole project and also bought over their partner to gain the first foothold in China.

I have been focusing my search on the decentralized requirements under PPP for the rural town and villages. The revenue for these tenders can go up to billion of rmb for the EPC projects, and usually bid by a consortium of fairly large national and provincial SOEs. I am just hopeful that our partners are amongst the names in the winning tenderers and we benefit as nominated equipment supplier to the projects.
