Yes, true, but I have seen personally the results of a large goat-culling exercise by helicopter - the majority of carcases were under bushes or ledges where they could not be seen from the air. Thus they crawled there to die after being shot. Would have been an awful concentration of suffering there. I actually complained to one of the guys involved and suggested maybe the shooters needed seeing-eye dogs. Surely at least some could have been mustered and the meat donated to pensioners or other struggling families? And the camels.....some could find a home in the Middle East, some could be eaten. camel meat is good. At least they wouldnt be slaughtered and wasted.
