sorry to burst your bubble! This has nothing to with the economic viability of the resources that are being reduced. This section was to be part of the open pit , this said zone was one of the main reasons for the initial objections to the mine . If you go back and read announcements from say September last year you will find there was a mention of this.

i guess a lot of people forgot about past statements mentioning the facts. I guess u have not done your due diligence. Maybe u should spend more time assessing and being more diligent, no point in making claims and assumptions without even bothering to do proper research.

either way , it was well played by management as that kept the s/p higher than what would have been otherwise. I don't believe that they were being dishonest in any way though. I reckon they just took advantage of most shareholders forgetting about that statement!

However as they have stated we should be able to reclaim most of those ozs back. The most important thing was to get the Mre.... which we finally did ! Hurray and congrats everyone.
