As a result, chemical availability[read lithium cobalt nickle graphite etc and maybe others like copper and aluminium]poses a major bottleneck risk to battery production which is also expanding rapidly in response to EV growth.”

This has been a concern of mine as everybody knows a chain is only as strong as the weakest link.

What good is all the lithium in the world if we are short catalytic components?

However, I do take heart in the fact that demand has a way of filling in the gaps.

Many uneconomical mines have been revisited once the commodity price exceeds the cost of production.

My point is; we should be encouraging (cheering on) the other (*)guys too.

So we may see new exploration for scarce elements and old mine sites revisited.

    * we (SpinCo) may even be "the other guys" - copper/nickle etc.
