The assumption is based on the presence of pentlandite and chalcopyrite both of which are repeatdly either missing or in trace quantities and necessary for reassurance of decent PGE-NI-CU hits. Having tonnes of sulphides means nothing if its all Pyrrhotite. CPN also had some "massive sulphides" when their SP went down. And at 320m deep you need Chalice level hits to make that worth mining
