There are the foil hatters who simply don't understand the maths of Delta spread ( and never will) and there are far right activists who have been working to import a Trumpist inspired political agenda for years. I blame people in both groups if they are pushing a non-compliance agenda
We know that incremental measures don't work with Delta. Even if we can eliminate COVID from south-west Sydney it only takes a few cases out of that zone to put everything back to square one .
I pushed for fast, universal lock down from the get go. Universal AZ vaccination and masks will now need to complement such a lockdown.
Berijiklian and Chant didn't understand either the maths or their opponents .
