Different company but STO recently did a 2 for 5 issue and allowed higher applications. There was about a 15%-20% discount to the post announcement share price. Despite this the offer was undersubscribed and they gave extra shares to underwriters (as well as scaling back some very annoyed holders, including yours truly).
GMG is 1 for 1 so asking for more money relative to existing market cap compared to STO. So don't be surprised if it is undersubscribed. A top up is guaranteed particularly for small investors like yours truly - my shares are worth about $1,000.
