I always suspected NST tried to muscle TBR/RND out by starving them of cash. As well as a host of other questionable tactics. NST underestimated the TBR/RND beast and it was NST who ultimately faltered in the war of attrition.
With EVN now in the picture we can expect production increases as Raleigh will miraculously reopen, EVN will strike an equitable deal for milling the ore, and transparent exploration drilling results will follow. Expect more cash and increasing reserves.
Only when these return will the value of TBR/RND 49% share in the EKJV become apparent. TBRs BOD laughed at $150M 2.5 years ago...I'd expect they would want more like $500m to come to the table.
The Kalgoorlie code of honour was broken by BB in his time at NST. AB is a crafty operator and I'm sure Jake and he would have shaken hands on a deal that does not need lawyers to enforce their word.
