Yea but if a bank is offering credit cards with their mortgages then it's because they have serviceability left. The same with BNPL. Just because Afterpay and ZipPay is assessed against loan serviceability doesn't mean it stops you from getting a loan. I've just bought another property, dealt directly with the bank and had no one tell me I had to close my Afterpay or ZipPay accounts nor did I need to close my credit card. Because I had a serviceability buffer e.g. asked for a loan less than what the bank was willing to provide.
This is all standard practice. Nothing to see here.
